I just got back from Six Flags!
I was in the midst of washing my car (finally -- it's been getting grodier and grodier every day) when Allison called me. She had just gotten out of work and "wanted to play". I was game, I love spur of the moment adventures. So finished up, and she arrived shortly thereafter. A quick change of clothes -- and we were out.

My first trip to Six Flags (Riverside) in I'd say about 3 or 4 years. I didn't go on much but I did make it to the teacups, the giant sphere over the park, and the log ride. We got there kinda late and it took a while for me to process the season pass. I have one now though, I can't wait until the water park is open. Unfortunately I'm looking at all the other "season passes" you can buy -- like a season tube rental, a season parking pass... seems I'll have to go with Allison if I don't want to have to pay for parking as she works there.

It was fun, I'm still sketchy about what I can and can't ride, rather not take chances. I remember being on the black widow, before they added another loop and squiggle -- shook me apart, almost tore me limb from limb.

From then on I've stayed away from anything too dramatic. I passed on a ride or two, but Allison rode them and I was fine with watching. I even tried the strong man thing... got a 99. 1 damn point shy. It only would have been 1 out of 3 shots anyhow... so a tiny prize if anything =]

I played the boxing game too -- I was somewhat sober, got to level 4 again... but damn if my arms don't fall off. I was in much better shape then at Kahunaville when I was done those 4 rounds, however. =]
I will master that game, if it takes years!

A fun day -- and Stefan just called me about a get-together at his house, a little jammin. I'm down.
