So I've been sucked into the friend-connection sites. I'm not even sure what to call them, the genre needs a name.

www.friendster.com ~ one of the first, pretty slow, widest userbase
www.myspace.com ~ includes a journal, many pluses, faster
www.orkut.com ~ best I've come across thus far, fast, looks pretty, no journal but everyone I know is on it =]
