Draft copy:: not to be published until after "D-Day"

My separation from RCN today was a bit of a milestone. I've never said where I worked before, for fear of repercussions and separation of employment... but don't have to worry about that now, though this won't be published/available until after all is said and done.

I don't feel like my time's wasted. I'm almost thankful that it's happened now. I have 2 years+ experience in telecommunications under my belt, and am almost finished with my programming degree.
I have always said that I wish I got layed off - could go back to school, maybe work a part time job... and now here's my chance.
My only worry is that unemployment won't be enough for emergencies that come up.

Only time will tell.
