We're almost ready for the new design, it's updated... so check out the link from a few days ago.
The week's winding up again, it's Friday.
My friend just picked up her first real car - 2003 Ford Focus. No doubt a reasonable 4 cyl, but not bad for a first car =]
The good news is there'll be hopefully not as much running around when I want to hang out with her -- the bad news... I doubt I'll be chillin with her as much because she'll be busy running around seeing all the friends she hasn't been able to see because she doesn't have a car.
In studying a few hours of DHTML and Javascript this week, I feel like I'm back in the saddle. All it takes is a little refresher to catch up on the new stuff. Surprisingly not much has changed, I'm still looking at tutorials from 2001. When things were jumping from version 2 to 3 to 4... (IE/Netscape) things were completely changing all the time. You had to stay up and up or else the pages wouldn't work.
I finally coded it so it works with IE - but better with Mozilla. I still have to test out Safari @ home... see how it works, but the whole network is giving me issues. Satellite is up, but no other computer can get the internet access over the network. I can't get to the router config page... and didn't have that much time to fiddle with it to boot -- so until I can sit with it I'm probably out of luck.
I can do the code here and there on breaks, friends houses... but the good stuff (graphics, re-doing the old pages) will have to wait until I have full access. I'm reluctant to add the links to the other pages until they match. =]
I at least got the colors how I want them, windows the right sizes... and all the damn GoLive code out of there. It was a mess, couldn't even follow the proprietary coding it would generate. I may not be able to have moving windows and the like... but I doubt anyone used that anyway (music page, for example).
