Nice little whirlwind -- wish = null/void, and had to try and express my feelings to boot.

I like dealing with emotional issues while attempting to do every day tasks, helps with the challenge.
...and then there's a call from my landlord about how they don't want the ex-housemate there: "we don't trust him".
Well I can guarantee there won't be any issues - the people you ought to be worried about is little-miss-troublesome's little friends.
Sketchy sketchy sketchy... and you're worried about people that I chose to live with? Why?

We're just trying to live our lives, same as anyone else -- and now our friends are not allowed over?
It all seems silly. Why worry? I put my reputation at stake, but that doesn't seem to be good enough.
You don't trust my word on that, why trust it on anything else?
No double standards, that's all a person can ask.
