After spending some time with Cathy I'm convinced a little both ways.
We spent most of the time we were hanging out at Newburry Comics just paroozing. Music, or posters, or little nicknacks would remind us of a story, and we'd banter back and forth on that subject. It was easy to talk... and we'd both trail off, losing our tain... to be reminded by the other person of what we were saying. There was so much that I wanted to say at a time, I'd often get on another subject before getting through the first -- and we'd both have to interject here and there for fear of losing the idea that was about to poof away forever. =]

She likes sports... quite a bit, it turns out. I didn't have much to offer along those lines, never really was one for sports - other then football. I can watch football. :] We went to eat at Chilli's - she offered to foot the bill because I drove out. I was impressed, never usually get that. I kicked in about a 3rd, I did spend a lot on gas... but was just impressed. I think I've only ever had one other person try and pay for my dinner.
She's young - 18, and where it doesn't really show, that's 3 full yeras before she can go to a bar.
I started this summer thinking about someone who I'd be able to go to bars with, made up my mind that I wasn't interested in anyone younger because it was an "inconvenience" but there's enough places that don't have an age limit... I guess. =}

She's so nice, and she really does seem like she'll do whatever she has to do to get what she wants. She's very determined, and though she said her grades weren't all that good this semester - she's in pre-med. She had a lot to say about drinking - like when she started at 16. I suppose I was 17, and almost going to college at that point, so it's not all that different. She likes drinking games, a plus, fun to go to parties with.

I had a really nice time with her, she seemed really happy to see me... and I was happy to see her. She's going off to GA soon, for a couple weeks... we'll see whats goin on when she gets back.
