This weekend was fun, relaxing, and just plain nice (other then the weather). It's been rainy and dark the past few days... not exactly pleasant, but a reason to stay indoors and be cozy.
I've been corresponding with a young lady via email... hadn't actually met - but went to go meet her the other day and I was surprised. I still have to spend some more time with her as we were both very reserved. It's weird first meeting someone, you're not sure what to say, what to do... and when to shut up. We went around the mall for a little bit, went to go see X2 - It was good, I was pleased, especially considering the first one was so short - this was a little over 2 hours. Very nice.
We went back to hang at her Sorority for a while... then I made sure I left by a reasonable hour.
I had a good time, we talked about menial things... nothing spectacular, but I wasn't bored.
We had similar taste in art, she knew the artists I was talking about, and even had a few of her own.
Dali was the particular one that caught my attention.
The bad part is that college is almost over, if anything we'll probably just hang a few times, maybe meet up again over the summer... but it's always nice meeting new people, there's good ones out there -- it's just difficult sifting through the rest =]
When you find a person with a good mind and a good heart, appreciate it, cause they're few and far between.
