OK, so here's the deal. The "official" Microsoft driver from WindowsGaming.com does not list a "Force" Tab for testing Force Feedback. The only Knowledgebase articles I can find reference Sidewinder and Windows 98. WTF!
Those say to go into a game that supports Force Feedback and try it in there.

I called Tech support, they said they'd put in a ticket. He couldn't give me a ticket number though... hmmm... I'm not going to hold my breath for that one.

I found a review, and several discussion boards, doesn't seem that anyone's been able to get vibration to work. On the plus side I did notice that they have an actual driver for WinXP64, right from the get go, a 64 bit driver! I wonder if they sacrificed the Force Feedback to get a 64 bit driver done in time?

*update* There's a program called Pnnacle, but it remaps the buttons to keyboard, which defeats the whole purpose of the analog sticks. The deadzone also seems to be a big problem, which this other program says will fix the issue.

More investigation is needed!

*update update* (this has taken FAR too much time for a new toy)
Check this out, it's the modified drivers I used to get it to work.
Incidently it doesn't work for WinXP64, I even tried the Win2k3 package, no luck.

It worked on WinXP Pro but I had to remove the XBOX Controller... directory from c:\Program Files, then I deleted the xnsomething.sys file from c:\windows\system32\drivers and the files dated today (like an hour ago, or whenever you installed it) from the c:\windows\inf directory (hidden).

Once you've got that, install the EXE, then run the BAT to copy the .sys and .inf files to the right place (you can always copy them manually if the BAT makes you nervous).
