post://112743964454935551/

does anyone remember me talking about how I've been making links for a good 2 months now, but haven't found a good way to post them?

Well here's my solution
I'll integrate it into the site sometime in the future, but for now I've made it as easy as possible. I update one generic XML file (or give it an rss feed) to pull from, and it will display it on my site, updated as soon as the file is newer then the existing source. No HTML to update, only one tiny file to modify and upload.
I love this shit.

Take a look, let me know what you think.
I'm eventually going to program a VB app around it, it will make it easy to create updates, you'll only have to upload it via FTP to your webspace... now all I have to do is learn how to integrate FTP into VB and I'll be all set, I suppose I could set up a batch file that would FTP via command line, but it's just not the same as having a built in "publish" button.

Lookout blogger, I'm hot on your heels.

I had to put all the links here so they could still be robot'd since I was having issues with the whole dual click nature of the modern browsers. music recommendations links discuss (no longer in service) ...mysterious pictures mobile archive
